Winning International competitions can truly bring honor for the country and evoke inspiration to others.
Anjanette Tadena is an exceptional agripreneur that has won an international award together with her team Hendri Surya Widcaksana and Adriana Viola M who are both from Indonesia.
Her team, AHA, has won the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (AASYP) RESET People’s Choice Award last November 1, 2020.
Over 2,000 participants from Australia and ASEAN joined the competition and a top 100 was chosen among them. Team AHA won the award for their brilliant proposal of an inclusive friendship and mentorship matchmaking app for the purpose of bringing together ASEAN and Australian Youths.
AASYP RESET opened the virtual innovation challenge and invited university students, recent graduates and young professionals accross ASEAN and Australia, with the aim of coming up with projects that foster stronger people connections to all youth in the region.
Tadena is a University of the Philippines Los Banos Alumna who also won International Youth Leaders Agribusiness Incubator Competition in Laos, earlier this year.
Tadena is also initiating projects for the community during lockdown such as Bayanihan Project and Pangasinan Kindness Station in order to help filipino farmers and those in dire need of help when the COVID-19 lockdown was initiated. A lot of Filipinos lost jobs and those who are living day-by-day experienced extreme poverty in the country.
Not to mention the economic downfall during the crisis. Even businesses had to shut down including those one would not expect to fall. The pandemic has brought the worst fears one used to imagine, but if everyone stands as one, we can overcome it.
Such strong woman stands as an inspiration to all the youth in the country. Even Netizens are in awe of all the awards and success Tadena has achieved. May she gain more success and help many more in her future.
